Privacy Policy
1. Scope and operator
This policy applies when you visit kikpulse.com, request a profile checkup, buy a plan, use the member dashboard, or contact support. KikPulse is operated by the Brazilian business behind Kikmidia. Privacy requests can be sent to contato@kikmidia.com.
2. Information you provide
We collect the Instagram username you submit, your quiz answers, and the name and email you provide for reports, purchases, access, or support. If you voluntarily provide another contact method, it may also be used to respond to your request. We never request your Instagram password or access to private messages.
3. Public profile information
We use specialized service providers to retrieve publicly available profile information, including profile images, public names, follower and post counts, posts, and visible engagement. We use this information to prepare your requested checkup, provide promotion, and monitor delivery. We do not access private account analytics or restricted parts of your account.
4. Payments and billing
Stripe collects and processes payment information in its secure checkout. We receive the identifiers, status, currency, amount, and billing information needed to manage your order, subscription, and refunds. We do not store full card numbers or security codes. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy policy.
5. Technical and attribution data
We record information such as IP address, browser and device details, visit times, pages or quiz steps visited, session identifiers, and referral or advertising parameters such as UTMs and click IDs. Essential browser storage keeps your quiz, checkout, and sign-in working. If advertising measurement is configured, browser pixels and server-side events may send page, lead, checkout, and confirmed purchase events to the configured advertising provider. These events can include hashed contact information and advertising identifiers for matching and deduplication.
6. How we use information
We use information to deliver your requested checkup and its email link, fulfill purchased services, manage account access and billing, provide support, send essential service notices, detect misuse or fraud, and understand how the site performs. We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising measurement, if enabled, involves sharing event data with advertising providers as described here.
7. Legal bases
As a Brazilian operator, we use the applicable bases under Brazil’s data protection framework: steps requested before a contract and performance of the contract; compliance with legal obligations; legitimate interests such as security and service improvement where appropriate; and consent where required. You may withdraw consent for optional processing without changing the lawfulness of prior processing. Applicable rights in your place of residence are not excluded.
8. Service providers and sharing
We share necessary information with Stripe for payments; hosting, email, and public-profile data providers; and promotion service partners. Promotion partners receive the public profile or post details needed to deliver the service, not your full payment card details. Configured analytics or advertising providers may receive the measurement data described above. We may disclose information when legally required or needed to protect legitimate rights and security.
9. International processing
The service is operated from Brazil. Hosting, payment, email, public-profile data, and advertising providers may process information in Brazil, the United States, or other countries. Requests sent through the site may therefore involve international processing. We use access controls and provider arrangements appropriate to the service and applicable requirements.
10. Cookies, browser storage, and choices
Essential cookies or browser storage support sign-in, quiz progress, and checkout. Advertising identifiers and attribution parameters may be used for measurement when an advertising integration is configured. You can manage browser cookies and local storage, although blocking essential storage may affect functionality. You can contact our privacy team to ask about applicable choices or request that optional marketing use stop.
11. Retention
We retain account, order, and financial information as needed to provide the service and meet applicable legal or recordkeeping obligations. Quiz and lead information is retained for follow-up and service analysis, subject to deletion requests and required retention. Report links may expire independently of the underlying records. We remove or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, subject to legal requirements.
12. Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, information about sharing, portability, or restriction of certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Email contato@kikmidia.com with the subject “KikPulse Privacy” and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing account information. You may also contact an applicable data protection authority.
13. Security and children
We use HTTPS, access controls, separate application credentials, and payment processing through Stripe. No security measure guarantees absolute protection. Our paid services are for adults aged 18 and over. We do not intentionally collect children’s information. Contact us if you believe a child provided personal information so we can investigate and respond.
14. Messages, updates, and contact
Providing an email for a checkup lets us send the report and related service information. If you receive optional marketing, you can request that it stop; essential messages about active orders or accounts may continue. This policy may be updated as the service changes.
